We welcome you to follow along on our journey in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean! This is our third trip to the continental shelf to study mercury cycling. Our research team is made up of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students from Wright State University. On Monday there were three different dolphin sightings. During one sighting in particular, the dolphins were as close as fifty yards from the ship!
